History
2004

Mr. Chips is our first mini.  He came from Kansas and had been shown in his younger years.  In July of 2004 Chip pulled his new inexperienced drivers in a parade at Dousman, Wisconsin and received a trophy for best horse drawn vehicle.  We enjoyed that so much we later drove him in a parade at Ixonia, Wisconsin.

In October of that year he won a first place trophy for trail in hand at the Southeast Wisconsin Miniature Equine Club (SEWMEC) "fun" show.  Also in October he visited a nursing home at Waupun, Wisconsin and took many grateful seniors for cart rides.

2005

Chip entered his first sanctioned AMHR show in Wisconsin at Shawano where he placed in several classes.  He took 1st, 2nd and 3rd in trail in hand, three 2nds in pleasure driving, and three 1st in obstacle driving.  Not bad for a horse that had been "retired" for several years.

In June, at the Pinto World Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he earned a Reserve Grand Championship in obstacle driving, also placing in trail in hand.

In August he took three 1st place ribbons in color at the Wisconsin Pinto Show at Jefferson.

Chip turns 18 in 2006.  He has been our teacher and is still willing to share his know-how and talent with all his human friends.

2006 and beyond

Chip continues to do well at local shows.
